Auto Insurance
Auto Insurance Made Easy for the Four-State Area
The staff of Wood Insurance Center understands there is no such thing as a one-size-fits-all policy in auto insurance. We pride ourselves on taking the time to discuss your needs and wants.
Types of Coverage
Bodily injury and property damage liability coverage are the most basic types of coverage and are required by law to be purchased if you own a vehicle. These coverages pay for damages to others, either medical costs or damage to other people’s property or vehicle. Optionally, you can also purchase comprehensive coverage (comp) and collision coverage to provide coverage for damage to your vehicle. If you have a loan on your vehicle, your lender will likely require these coverages. Our agents can help you determine the right coverage for your vehicles.
Personal Injury Protection
Personal injury protection or medical payments coverage differs from bodily injury coverage in that it covers the medical treatments, rehabilitation, and funeral expenses for you and your passengers.
Underinsured Driver
Underinsured/uninsured driver coverage is quite important. This coverage protects you if the other party does not have insurance or doesn't have enough insurance to cover costs. It also protects you if you are involved in a hit and run.
Gap Insurance
Gap insurance is for new/used car purchases. If your car is totaled within THE FIRST MONTHS after purchase, insurance will cover the car’s value. Gap insurance “fills in the gap” between what the insurance claim covers and what you still owe on the vehicle.
Auto Insurance Extras
Rental car & roadside assistance coverage applies if you need a rental car while your car is being repaired. If you’re broken down on the side of the road, you can get help from a tow truck or other service with roadside assistance.
